DAY 2 :: TOUR IN ISTANBUL | Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for the full day Istanbul classics and highlights tour. Visit to “Roman Hippodrome”, the “Blue Mosque” (the mosque with six minarets) & its surroundings, the “German Fountain”(a gift of Kaiser Wilhelm - II) , the “Hagia Sophia” (the Church of Divine Wisdom). Visit the “Topkapi Palace Museum” (the deep insight of Ottoman History, art and its culture and the amazing Palace) and visit the “Golden Horn Bay”- a popular fishing district of local citizens. (Lunch break on additional direct cost). Continue to enjoy a cable car ride up to the hill viewpoint of “Pierre Loti” and visit to the “Mosque of Suleyman”. Later, in the afternoon, take a transfer to the “Taksim”- the most commercialized and lively area of the city. Here, you may also take an old tram that takes you to the nearby “Galata Tower”. DAY 3 :: TOUR IN ISTANBUL | Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for a boat trip on the Bosphorus (around 2 hours) strait that connects the Black Sea with the Sea of Marmara and which separates Istanbul into two parts namely the European part and the Asian one. (Lunch break on additional direct cost). The balance of the day is in leisure on your own. Return to hotel. DAY 4 :: TRAIN JOURNEY TO ANKARA – DRIVE TO CAPPADOCIA | Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for the train journey (4 hours) from the station in the Asia district of Istanbul towards Ankara (the capital city). It would be a pleasant trip enjoying the Anatolian landscapes and a cup of Turkish coffee in the train. On arrival in Ankara train station, take a lunch break (on additional direct cost). Later proceed for the driving journey towards Cappadocia. En-route, visit the “Mausoleum of Ataturk” – the father of modern Turkey and drive pass through the “Salt Lake” in Tüz Golu,” enjoying its incredible landscapes. On arrival in Cappadocia, transfer to the pre-booked hotel and check in. (In the evening, dinner suggested at a local cuisine restaurant OR a continental restaurant- on direct cost). Overnight in Cappadocia. |
DAY 5 :: TOUR IN CAPPADOCIA | Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for the full day tour in Cappadocia. Visit to “Göreme Valley & the Rock Sites” to observe a spectacular landscape, entirely sculpted by erosion, containing rock-hewn sanctuaries, dwellings, troglodyte villages and underground towns ( a traditional human habitat dating back to the 4th century ). Later, visit to “Uchisar Castle” - a natural fortress, situated at the highest point in Cappadocia. This view point provides a magnificent panorama of the surrounding area with “Mount Erciyes” in the distance. (Lunch break on additional direct cost). Afterwards, visit to “Kaimacli” to see the underground city that could house 30,000 people. Many rooms hollowed out into the rock are connected to each other with stairs, tunnels and passages. There are 36 underground cities in Cappadocia and the widest one is “Kaymakli Underground City”. On the returning way to Avanos, take a stopover at “Pasabag Valley” (Monks Valley) contains some of the most striking "earth pillars" & "fairy chimneys" in Cappadocia with twin and even triple rock caps. DAY 6 :: DRIVE TO KONYA ( Via Ihlara Valley ) | Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for the tour in Cappadocia to visit the “Ihlara Valley Canyon” known for the freshness of its waters, once housed more than 4000 dwellings and a 100 cave churches excavated in the rock. Later, take the driving journey towards Konya. En-route, take a visit at an old town of “Caravanserai”(13th Century). (Lunch break on additional direct cost ). On arrival in Konya, visit to the “Mausoleum of Mevlana”. Then transfer & check into to the pre-booked hotel. DAY 7 :: DRIVE TO PAMUKKALE ( Via Egridir ) | Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for the journey to Egridir by driving ( 230km /3 Hours 30 minutes ) along a scenic road between the lakes. Egridir is a beautiful town next to a large “Egridir lake”. (Lunch break on additional direct cost). Continue the tour towards Pamukkale (meaning “Cotton Castle” in Turkish language). Pamukkale Travertines is a natural site that contains hot springs and travertines, terraces or carbonate minerals left by the flowing water. And from a distance, the terraces look like a “Castle made of fluffy white cotton”. You would be having free time to walk on warm water terraces, where people have bathed in for thousands of years. Continue a visit to “Hierapolis” which is an ancient city that was founded around 190 BC and was famous for its sacred hot springs. Then transfer to Pamukkale & check into to the pre-booked hotel. DAY 8 :: DRIVE TO KUSADASI ( Via Ephesus / Selcuk ) | Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for the driving journey (3 Hours 31 minute) to Selcuk. On arrival, visit to “the Ancient Greek City of Ephesus” (one of the 7 Wonders of the world). This is in fact the ruins of this iconic city, witness the 24,000 seater Great Theatre. Here you will enjoy to see the “Hadrian Temple” (2nd Century), the “Hercules Gate”, the “Polio Trajan Fountain”, “the Library of Celsus” and the “House of Virgin Mary”. (Lunch break on additional direct cost). Continue the driving journey towards Kusadasi - a popular coastal town with a lot of atmosphere, commercial life and a small castle. DAY 9 :: DRIVE TO ISTANBUL ( Via Izmir & Bursa ) | Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for the driving journey to Istanbul. En- route, a stopover in Izmir city to observe the “Saint Polycarp Church”. Continue the journey towards Istanbul with a stopover at the city of Bursa with its traditional commercial districts, mosques, religious schools, public baths. (Lunch break on additional direct cost). Resume the journey and finally arrive at Istanbul by passing through the hanging bridges crossing the Sea of Marmara and the Bosphorus Strait. The travelers must possess a valid Turkey Visa.
It is advisable to book more than 45 days prior to the tour departure date as the internal ticket rate might increase closer to the departure date, resulting in an increase in the Tour cost.
The Original Tour Cost offered to the travelers are subject to change without prior notices.
The tour will be operated subject to a minimum of 25 full paying passengers travelling together. In the event that the group size is less than 25 passengers, you will be given an option of travelling on another departure date.
You are needed to carry at least USD 2500.00 while traveling on this tour.
For the convenience of our passengers, we may sometimes will have to amend the tour itinerary. The company reserves the right to alter the order of the itinerary and the same will be informed to the travelers before departure.
Booking once confirmed shall be subject to the deduction of the applicable cancellation charges as per company’s rules.
Any unutilized services will not be refunded.
Tours operated are subject to NRB ( Nepal Rastra Bank ) regulations. You require to pay us a part of the tour cost in USD out of your Basic Travel Quota of USD 2,500.00 which you would get from your bank in Kathmandu, prior to your tour.
